Dreamer
A text meant to be read aloud in silence.
I have been running in circles, lost and blind,
chasing shadows I cannot leave behind.
Every step feels hollow, empty space,
searching for something, a glimpse of grace.
In the mirror, faces blur.
I can no longer tell which one is real.
Am I only a dreamer, wasting time,
or is there something I have not yet found?
A question returns.
Again and again.
Should I live my life.
Should I live my dreams.
Or should I keep dreaming my life
instead of stepping into it.
I stand between wrong and right,
tied to a thought that follows me into the night.
In the heart of darkness, I noticed something small.
A spark.
A flicker of hope that refused to disappear.
Maybe life is not a problem to solve,
but something learned by moving through it.
Doubt does not vanish,
but it loosens when I stop standing still.
Dreams change
when they are lived,
not postponed,
not protected,
not denied.
What if we looked within ourselves
and reached outward at the same time?
What if strength arises in community, not in solitude?
What if needing less
could mean more?
What if we released ourselves
from the things that keep us endlessly reaching?
What if we built bridges instead of walls?
What if we answered the call
when one of us falls?
What if societies changed their course?
What if value was measured in hearts,
not gold?
What kind of unity could grow from that?
Not dividing.
Not isolating.
But lifting each other
when one of us cannot stand alone.
What if change did not start with systems,
but with looking inside?
By breaking the cycle
that only keeps driving me on.
Not reaching for distant stars,
but meeting needs that are already here.
Finding meaning
in the people we encounter,
not the things we collect.
It is time to break these chains.
Not violently.
But consciously.
No more restless nights
when I can't shake my thoughts.
No more half-decisions.
No more waiting
for a moment that never arrives.
To live life.
Not someday.
Now.
To turn dreams into something that burns,
without consuming.
This is not about perfection.
It is about choosing
to step forward.
